A Party on Valentines Day with no games is
like eating some cake without that amazing sweet icing! You just can not have
one without the other, you have to do both. It does not matter if you just want
to pass some time with you spouse or entertain some guests, these Valentines Day
games will be perfect for either one.
Playing games at a Valentines Day party
plays a crucial role into the success of that party. Entertaining people breaks
the ice and helps your guests feel more at ease and comfortable. One thing to
remember is that you should choose Valentines Day games that will be suitable
for the maturity level of your guests. Otherwise everyone may get
bored.
A good example of this is that you would
not want to have children games at an adult party or adult games at a childrens
party. It almost seems obvious but you would not believe how many people make
these mistakes, so I thought I would put a word in about it. So here are some
Valentines Day games that will help to create a romantic atmosphere for your
Valentines Day Party.
1. The first game I will explain is called
the Chins game. This one can be somewhat hard but is really fun and that is why
I keep it on the list as one of the best. The first thing you will need to get
is a pillow that is shaped like a heart. You can make one yourself or you have
somebody make it for you or buy one. Then create half a dozen small groups and
have each group form a circle. Each person must get the pillow over to the other
person but they cannot use their hands.
Now every participant should hold the heart
shaped pillow with their chin and their chest while passing it over to another
group the same way. The receiving group must also grasp the pillow with their
chin and chest as well. As you can see this Valentines Day game will keep your
guests fairly tensed up, but we are still not finished yet!
While the pillow is being passed around, it
might fall on the floor. It must be picked up but without using any hands, chins
and chest only! Now the game has to start from the beginning. The goal is to get
the heart shaped pillow from the first group to the last one without dropping
it.
2. The second Valentines Day Game is called Always Guessing.
Keep people guessing the answer to something very simple. Here is a great
example. Take a glass see through jar and fill it with marbles or something and
then have your friend guess at how many is in the jar. Whoever gets the closest
to the right answer wins the game. Give them a prize if you want.
One thing to make sure of before starting
this Valentines Day game is to be certain you know the right answer. You do not
want to look foolish in front of everyone in the room.
One last tip, you can also play this game
with other things like food and then give the food away as the prize, or you
could use pennies, nickels or dimes. Whatever works for you. Anyway all this
should amount to you having a great Valentine Day
party!
